OWB?

15 years... :banghead:

Ouch.....I thought it was 12. Well maybe it's been 12 years since I played the last duke nukem game.....that would have made me ummm 9 years old. Yep that's about right. Wow.....what does that say about my parents paying attention to the games they let me play. No 9 year old should be playing any duke nukem game lol. Oh well picking it up tomorrow and that should hold me over for awhile while I wait for DLC's and whatnot

You don't like the plasma stains? but its part of the game....

Not when in-game months later I'm walking back to Novac from Nipton and there's a ton of plasma stains still at the viper camp; everytime someone dies with a critical hit I have to load a save because the damn things never despawn.

Eh, not too bad. I was 5...

And I still love shooting those aliens in the face with the shotgun to watch them writhe in pain.

I can't wait to kick ass and chew bubblegum...

I'm still trying to figure out if every gamestop is having a midnight release or not.... But we're getting waaaayyyy off topic with our love for Duke nukem lol. So back on topic then, I'm guesing OWB will be out next week or the week after that but either way i'm not in a rush, I've got a shiny new game to occupy my time lol.

I hope that Energy Weapons (namely the low tier ones) get rebalanced to match or surpass guns of the same tier.

Between the lack of anti-DR ammo, the fact that energy weapons require two skills to maintain, and the fact that plasma weapons guzzle up twice as much ammo makes all the early to mid-range energy weapons tiers utterly worthless in comparison to Guns of the sam tier with their numerous ammo and repair material. Please, for the love of god, fix this at some point so I dont need to pack my game with mods just to make Energy Weapons a viable combat choice.

Pleased to report that we fixed that one in the next patch, along with some other much-requested changes.

Stay tuned.

Thank you very much. This is great news :D

Thank you!!!! I can finally use those now. Well... again.

On that note: Will this also solve the issue of the minigun not making sounds at all when fired? Or delayed sounds? <- the last one is probably lag but I figured I'd ask.

Yup, as with all video/computer game releases with unclear release date information, Old World Blues will be out "soon".

If we're talking about the same thing, that's not a bug. Fallout 3 functioned the same way.

What? Are you serious?
