Brink is frankly a great game in my opinion but it has some shortfalls that we all know about. In this i'm putting forward what to do to improve plus a couple of my own suggestions just for debating about.

1) Dedicated servers. We need these, the matchmaking it terrible and the lag is obnoxious on this game. With it the 'everyone' option when choosing who to play with could actually work rather than almost always being teamed with bots and in addition the lag would go a fair way to being fixed.

2) More maps. Thankfully a free DLC with 2 new ones is coming soon but even after that more maps please Even with the same objective types just more. Could have levels all over the place with different defend the point missions etc. The game has a decent count of game modes but not a decent amount of places in which to play them.

3) Optional but more game modes would be a fine addition. I'm with the majority here though in that i do NOT want TDM involved in this game. I love no KD its refreshing to have a game where you can enjoy it rather than have campers / find yourself camping. Here are some ideas:
a) Capture the flag. Classic and simple. Fits in with the game. Operatives can mark enemies (particularly flag carriers), emp defensive / offensive turrets and mines. Engineers make the turrets and mines and buff peoples attack / kevlar to improve the offence of others. Soldiers restock ammo and blow things up and medics keep everyone alive. Everyone has a role in this game mode and as a result i think it to be a reasonable suggestion. If stats are recorded on this its flag captures, flag defends, carrier kills and times as carrier amongst whatever the brink standard stats are.
B) A new game mode. Basically my idea is the defending team holds down a fortress with multiple levels of defence. For example front gate, second gate etc etc. Each new level into the fortress becomes more defensible with fewer side routes. Teams swap sides at the end of a time limit and the team to penetrate furthest into the fortress wins. Should it be identical it goes down to total objectives, then points as is standard in tiebreakers in brink.

Thats just a couple i can think of.

Bethesda please listen to these threads, this game has a monster amount of potential from the SMART system alone and it'd be a shame to waste this game. I played COD MW2 after a bit of Brink today and i couldn't help but feel COD had rubbish movement by comparison. I put COD down after 3 games and put brink back in. Just an example of how good this game can be viewed
