Ain' That A Kick In The Pants!

Look I know you guys (directed towards devs) have already stated that New Vegas wont continue after the end. I get that it wont be changed....but I'd like some kind of closure. Is there any reason in particular for not allowing us to explore the changes that ouccured through our involvement in the battle over the Dam? Everything that was listed or detailed in the credits I was really looking forward too seeing the changes within the game. Im not distraught like some of my hardcoe peers but just desire a little insight into the decision that you've made that otherwise left me somewhat dissapointed.

There are too many endings.
Edit: I just want to put this out there. There are 189 different choices you could make that would affect the endings.

There are too many endings.

I can see that but....still it just feels incomplete. Granted the way they tie everything together is cool but I don't get to personally witness the outcome that I put time and efforts into. I wanna say that don't regret playing it I would just like some closure. If they posted or wrote on why they did this if anyone could post a link to an official address on the topic I would be thankful.

What I really want to know is which (if any) ending is going to be considered canon.

And I'm pretty sure that is the reason they don't have a continued story: 189 different outcomes that they would need to make conclusions for.

So do you feel this way about every game ever? because 99.9% of games end.

You must be new here. This game has WAY too many endings for it to continue after the main quest, all I do is just save before the final mission and then when I am done I just reload that save and carry on.

That's not a kick in the pants.

Fun Fact: Most games end. I should put an exclamation point just to make it an extra fun fact, but I'll spare you.

If they let me walk around the Mojave after the Dam, and I noticed that nothing I had previously done meant anything because the world just went it's own way to accommodate some extra free-roaming, THEN it would be a kick in the pants.
