I have done most of the quests and am scavenging for more. But There are three I cannot complete along with obtaining a follower. The problem is with Boxcars (Nipton) and Dr. Hildern (Camp McCarren). The issue is I already completed the quests for THEM, but there are three quests that lead to them. When I try to talk to them about it, the only dialogue option is goodbye, so I cannot complete the other quests. The quests are the one you obtain from The scavengers in the basemant of the church in camp searchlight, the quest obtained from the leader of the Crimson Caravan Company, and the quest from Cass telling me to work for the Crimson Caravan Company. The follower in turn that is not able to be obtained, is Cass ... (unless she was a modded follower I saw on youtube).

Well you won't get dev support like that, bro-mo.

There are multiple ways to finish quests and do them in different orders. You most likely did some quests that prevented you from doing others. There is now nothing you can do but continue on the path your on. You can't do all the quests there are in the game in one playthrough.

Reload a save. NOW.

I thought that one through ... I've done waaaay too many quests since to try that.

I remember running into that glitch in my first game. If you're on PC try disable/enable or kill/resurrect on the problem NPCs. On of them ought to nail it.

Considering the op mentions x-box forums, I would doubt he is a pc user. This thread really ought to be moved or locked though. This isnt a bug support forum. :flamethrower:

Lock is the only option. The OP already created a thread like this in the section he mentioned.

Some things to consider....

In relation to the quest you get from Cass to join Crimson Caravan, that is only one step in a quest that eventually leads you to discover where Crimson Caravan is located and to talk to the woman who runs it. There is no xp or perk given for this. It only leads to the quests SHE gives you.

In relation to the quest given from the prospectors in the church basemant, this quest is bugged for TONS of people, since Boxcar's dialogue is glitched and often won't talk to you about anything. So, here's a solution. You can go to that cave where the radiation suits are hidden anyways, and get yourself a suit and other loot. then, you can go back to the church and kill the scavangers and take the keys to the police station and the fire house and loot everything there as well. You will loose a few XP, but you will get to keep everything you find.

this happened to me once (didnt get help either <_< ) weirdly enough, if i was on another character it worked, but not on that character. try saving, making a new char, and reloading the old save, other than that, idk.

I KNOW, but nobody looks at the bug support forum, so this was a way to get someone to look at it.

holy **** folks they guy was just asking for some help and look at all the **** that got dumped on him. yea ok its not the right form, yea its not tec support, etc etc
if i knew another path assassin i would tell you but i have seen the bugs and had to back track or try and find stuff with out the quest (sorry)
and a small slam to you all that bashed on him for looking for help try this next time helping a fellow gamer out god knows the help you get from ramdom post dont due much.

its all good man you have to ask sometimes to get things done i was just a little shocked at the amount of crap you got hit with for asking in oh my god the wrong forum better call the forum police......... like the rest of these folks never need help,
