Crysis Problems

Post » Wed Jun 15, 2011 6:27 am

The way I would explain it is, every time the screen moves quickly it refreshes weirdly, like a slideshow. Whether it's on max graphics or the worst, and the frame-rate is still above 30 at all times. It happens during video and gameplay. If you slowly pan around, it doesn't do it, only when it moves quickly. I have the same problem with Borderlands too.

Does anyone know why it does that? Or any fixes for it?

I have latest graphics drivers. I have an EVGA GTX 460 1gb, i5 750 lynnfield 2.66 ghz, and 8gb RAM DDR3.

You will just see a normal pic. I can try to take video, that will be the only way you can see it.

Do you maybe mean screen tearing? If so you just need to enable vsync

I'm guessing this might be it as well, but it's hard to say for sure. Try turning v-sync on. If your video card isn't sending frames to the monitor at the monitor's refresh rate (usually 60Hz or 60fps for an LCD) you'll get partially-rendered frames, which can be annoying.
