I am waiting...

I am here playing my beloved Brink, but I am here asking myself, what is going on? There are our players who are strictly for this game and there are our players who play this game for 10 minutes and quit. Why? There are a number of reasons, and I come down on myself a great deal because I saved for this game for two months. At first I was sad because I just spent 60 dollars on something that was supposed to change the way of FPS, but I played it like any other game, and I was upset with, and I started to like, love, and defend it. To my beloved Brink players, I love you all to death, and I would defend this game to the end, but come on! I have tried to play campaign and no one is around, defend all you want but on a playing screen when no one is there to play, how can you debate against me. I played 4 hours straight and had no other person join me, switched modes, played, dropped out, played, dropped out, played, and kept doing this for another hour; No one came online. That is fine, but how can you sit here and defend a game that seriously has no players at the moment. I know everyone is waiting on the DLC, but I am waiting too but I keep playing even before it comes out, and I still have no one to play with. Now I know I am going to get some static, but remember I love this game, I love both Bethesda and Slash Damage, and I know that your game is based on Multi player action, and it svcks that people bought this game solely on the fact that it would change FPS, and to me it has, it is very different from everything I have played. I will keep playing this and I enjoy it, but maybe I have the wool over my eyes to a game that will not survive. Please my fellow Brink lovers give me something to keep my faith in this game. Don't argue with me because you love it too, argue with me because you want to change it, you want it to live on and become something that will be played way beyond its time. I play as security and as security I want to secure this game as a playable asset in our gamers commune, and I also play as a resistance, so please resist the urge to give me negative feed back and grab me by the arm and tell me, hey it is okay, Brink will get better, not for just us, but as a gaming community!

it is weird that half the server seems to leave after a map. you start on a full server and within 3 maps its like 3v3 :(

im still enjoying the game though.

i'm not sure what system or pc you're on but you can add players from the forums player links , ps3 has a chatroom workaround which has been working great for the ps3 community usually with full big teams games, competetive games etc.......

either way whichever side of the love it/ hate it side of the argument you're on everyone will empathize with your frustration in finding games, its probably the biggest problem plaguing brink atm ,the inability for the community to connect properly is inexusable especially in a fps multiplayer game.........unfortunately every multiplayer fps nowadays has issues at launch , so my thinking is if you like what brink is trying to do and support the game and see what it has to offer when things get fixed.
