Seriously time for some optimistic thread action...

All day.. competitive... objective mode... practically full games, and the players stuck it out at least 3 or 4 matches minimal... had a nice hour plus run just now with the same crew, 5v5. ALL FRESH FACES for the most part (2 o 3 exceptions).. I think Brink is getting more people curious as I have been seeing MUCH improved players and more "not usuals"

Maybe SD just loosened up the matchmaking to make it a lot less restrictive... as it stands, it seems to refuse to match you into any game that gives you less than 95% connection bar, and if there aren't any games currently running it makes one for you with bots. I'd love a "[censored] ping, let me play with anybody" option, because I really don't care about lag. It would make finding games with people a LOT easier.

Remember, the game isn't dead... the matchmaking is, in the brain.

i hope that SD lossened up the matchmaking protocal like you're suggesting , so far the chatroom matchmaking has been key for me , full 5v5 or 8v8 matches anytime .....thanks to the community and please keep supporting and informing new players /randoms about chatroom invites !!

It's funny 2 of the 3 people posting on this thread I play with regularly. But I really hope this game doesn't die, I'm pretty sure I don't think I could handle playing an FPS without SMART. (Of course I could, but I'd miss it so much) I'd love to see a sequel too. Heck, I'd pay sixty dollars right now to have a sequel.

uhh, what console was this, on your sig it shows that you have a 360 and ps3, and just an hour ago (on ps3) I tried to get into several matches and all were bots, its been making me so freaking mad because ever since I got the game last week, I have played 1 match that actually had someone in it
