I really can't see past the amount of freezes

The constant freezing, especially when entering and exiting through doors, is putting me right off this game. It's just not right that we should be expected to reload the game every 10 mins just because they couldn't be arsed fixing this [censored]. Whilst the problem is quite rare during the early game, it becomes a major problem around lvl 20 or so. The game's a joke, Obsidian are a joke and expecting people to put up with this stuff is a joke.

If this is what you get when buying into an Obsidian product, then i can safely say i won't be back for seconds. Any immersion one may derive from the game quickly disperses once the freezes become a regular occurrence.

Good game, pity about the the level of effort that went into it on the technical side of things.

I'm really struggling to make any headway once i hit the strip as the game just keeps freezing.

Is it bad that my cousin said he pirated (yes, I scolded him) and told me he didn't have it freeze once?

That's really stupid, imo, that people who pirate the game have less freezes and technical issues than people that paid for it.

That's the thing, i love the game, i enjoy it a lot more than i enjoyed FO3 and as such didn't mind paying for it, but the freezes are ruining the entire experience. i don't mind quests glitching out as i can move onto something else and i also accept games this size won't be without issues, but i literately can't progress through The Strip. I've tried telling my companions to wait whilst i enter/exit doors, yet 9/10 I'm still having problems. And when you have to constantly save and relaod the game, certain segments of the story and quests become fragmented due to having to save and reload every 2 minutes just so you don't have to do go back 10 mins and do the whole thing again for it only to freeze yet again.

This happened to me not to long ago except after one of the freezes, i couldn't reload any of my saves for that character. I had 3 different saves (to be safe, lol now i have 7) all 3 were corrupted.
I was about 20 hrs in as well, needless to say i was pissed and had no desire to play for the next week.
so far on this play thru im up to about 30 hrs and no real freeze issues so far (fingers crossed). the sad part is that there is no fix for this issue and those that run into it are screwed for the time being.

I had ALOT of freezes after the last patch when before it I had 1!!! I cleared the system cache and so far only have a few freezes here and there. Keep two hard saves every time you save.
