I have tried numerous things, from re-installing the game, verifying the game cache, making "back-up" files for the game and then re-installing it.
I also made sure that "triple buffering" was turned off, and even tried using the "BRINKKIT" configuration tool (here --> http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1897087) to change and optimize the game's settings (some people suggested changing the resolution, or disabling the intro movies, neither of which worked).
From what I can gather, it seems as though I just need to update my driver.
So I went to this site here --> http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx

which then brought up this download --> [img]http://imageshack.us/f/155/amdcatalystdisplaydrive.jpg/[/img]
So I downloaded it, installed it, and tried using it. But of course, yet ANOTHER stupid pop up appeared telling me this --> [img]http://imageshack.us/f/805/aticatalystmobilitydown.jpg/[/img]
I'm basically at my wits end here. I know my computer can graphically handle this game, because it handles Assassins Creed: Brotherhood, Bioshock, Bioshock 2, Fallout: New Vegas, Grand Theft Auto IV, Left 4 Dead 2, Mass Effect, Mirror's Edge, and Resident Evil 5 beautifully with literally almost no problems whatsoever.
I also purchased this game on Steam of course, and probably won't be able to get a refund. So please, any advice or assistance would me greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
