What is your trademark memory of New Vegas?

What I mean is, whenever I play a long game like this, it always feels like there's one part in particular that stays burned into my memory, and it's always the first thing I think of if someone mentions the game's name. I wanna know what that memory is for all of you.

For me, my trademark memory of New Vegas is taking cover behind a wall in the Sierra Madre lobby on my dead-is-dead character, hunting shotgun in hand as ghosts swarm into the room, slowly making their way towards me as spears fly by and get stuck in the walls, the song "Begin Again" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgZ3sryr87I) playing in the backround.

Guessing this one stuck with me because when that battle came, I knew I was in the home stretch. I was almost out of there, and the battle setup was so stereotypical for zombie flicks, the song so perfect for the story and the struggle...

The memory that will be etched into my head for all of eternity....

I got about have way through my first play through and noticed that there was more than likely going to be several drastically different endings. I remember my heart sank, and I said to myself " Im not going to have a clue what really happened here."

I ve been on here [censored]ing about it ever since.

2nd greatest memory is definitly meeting The King. My favorite part is when you ask him about what the school was before they got there.

The King is badass........

Mr. House taking pride in my courier for being a do gooder. And watching his end slides mention how he finally can run New Vegas his way. IE: Efficiently. :blush2:

I don't have just one.

-1st time I discovered Deathclaw Promontory. Swimming down the quiet river, listening to the swimming sounds & idly looking at scenery - then said "hey look a break in the cliffs, wonder what's up there"...and waltzing up that seemingly quiet path between the cliffs with Arcade & Boone & suddenly my headphones explode in my ear and "holy mother of ..."

-Boone's damn red beret, where I can now no longer see a red beret (movie, art, real life) without thinking of the darn game.

-Benny & Black Widow.
