Thank you for FO:NV

Just want to thank all those involved for the only big-budget RPG I’ve enjoyed and connected with. The rare combination of inter-connected quests, choice and conciqence, well written story, fully realised world and greater emphasis on RPG mechanics means that FO:NV is the latest, and perhaps last, RPG to legitimately claim it’s place with in the legacy of Fallout 1, Arcanum and the classic RPGs of yore.

I understand that in the race to claim as many ‘casual’ gamers as possible, the continued ‘streamlining’ of the genre will likely continue and cause the marketplace to be dominated action-adventure games, action-RPGs and Roleplaying-shooters – but it’s nice to have one last classic PC RPG on my Xbox 360.

I really appreciate the Obsidian crew for doing FONV... It really made me realize again how crappy FO3 was compared to the original games. I just wish you did not have to use the [censored] Gamebryo engine.

Obsidian, fix your game. That junk is broken. No it is not the fault of Windows.

These other games run fine:

Oblivion
Fallout 3
Stalker - Call of Pripyat
Witcher: Enhanced Edition
Witcher 2 - Assassin of Kings
Dragon Age: Origins
Metro 2033
Civilization V
All Total War games up to and including Empire: Total War
Mass Effect 1 and 2
Gothic 1 and 2
Sims 1, 2, and 3
