So Dungeon Siege 3 will be released next week. Are any of you planning on purchasing it to support Obsidian in hopes that the extra profit will enhance any future fallout games (I know Bethesda still owns the series, but I'm sure Obsidian will put up a fight to continue developing Fallout.)

If I read that it has features I will enjoy then I will buy it. I do not buy many games on release. In fact Dragon Age:Origins and New Vegas are the only games I have paid full price for in years. I even pre-ordered New Vegas, my first time ever pre-ordering anything.

I was hoping for a gritty dungeon crawler, but if the game is like the demo I played, it's just another shiny, shallow, stylistic console job without much to interest a PC gamer. Heh, probably will only have 'save points', . Will wait for a bunch of reviews and opinions from others, before I go near it.

Thank goodness Diablo 3 will be made for PC's.... hopefully.... damn Activision is probably going to [censored] it out!

It does, infact. Along with unrebindable keys, "console limited" camera, controller friendly control scheme and menus. A real shining gem of a half-assed console port :nod:

I might get it for my PS3 at some cheaper price point, though.

Stuff like this makes me wonder if New Vegas was even this good (technically) becasue Obisidian got all the tech from Bethesda.

That is sad. Really sad. You can't go from playing great PC-oriented games for 15 years, to this stupid, dumbed-down console sh**. It's just unbearable. When you know how it's supposed to be done, and then they screw new games up to cater only to the horrid limitations of consoles, ugh. Makes me want to bite off heads.
