OWB delayed?

Post » Sun Jun 19, 2011 6:04 pm

Has Old World Blues been delayed? Here we are a little over 2 weeks before the end of the month, and still no OWB release info. Has the game been delayed because Bethesda got hacked? Is the new patch really taking this long? Are we looking at a first or second week of July release date for OWB?

It hasn't been delayed because they never said it would come out mid-month. You just said it 2 weeks plenty of time for them to announce and release a small trailer. I bank on seeing it the last week of June.

I am hoping the patch before hand comes out this tuesday. I get a real bad feeling when they rush a patch + dlc out the same week :P

The only patch required for the DLC is one that adds support for new trophies. They could easily release the DLC before the patch they've been working on.

I'm sure Jason Bergmen said the patch they are working on is tied in with the patch that adds support for OWB and that any patches would come before the DLC.

Also its been mentioned that the patch includes other fixes. Like the mini-gun sound fix. So its far more then the superfluous trophy patch.

edit: And more importantly also improves memory management. All an all I'd like to see that patch release first, so if it buggers up my game I know to blame that, instead of the dlc :P

Did I say anything about the actually contents of the patch? No I didn't I simply said that all OWB actually requires is the superfluous parts.

And you could easily be wrong. Without the memory management fixes it could easily crash upon every cell transition :P

I kind of doubt the same could be said for the achievement bit. They could probably not include it at all and it'd run fine.

The Patch is suppose to include fixes for the gun above head when sneaking as well as for the NCR or Legion Assassins. Making them more similar to Regulator and Talon Company encounters.

First all, it wasn't delayed and no official release yet. The best bet will be June 28th.

Second, they're currently fixed over 100 bugs. Including ED-D issue, some scrips, some main or side quests, and some weapon issues, and more.
See this topic--> http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1201937-to-jason-bergman/

My guess is the patch and trailer will release on next Monday or Tuesday.
