I know that Scrounger effects the amount of ammo you find in containers, but I was curious if it influences the BOS Energy Weapon ammo stash? It seems like an atypical container, and I was unsure if it counted or not. Also, does anyone know roughly how much extra ammo can be yielded when using this perk?

Not sure, but kinda moot other than for convenience. You can simply keep going through the main door to get more ammo.
