That dream actually sounds pretty cool. xD I vaguely recall dreaming about a god a couple of years ago, I posted it on another forum, I'll copy it into here:
I can't remember how the dream started out, but at some point I was with this group of people out in the countryside somewhere. They left, and I was left behind with a job to fulfill . I had to bring a bottle of water to a god. It was a Japanese god called Oon. So I set off down a path through some trees, across the country, and at some point ended up at a large shopping centre. There were many people there, and one guided me up to the top floor (via escalator - not stairs ). There was a terrace there in style of a garden, and there sat the god (who by the way looked more European than Japanese). I handed him the bottle - but it was a bottle of juice, orange in colour. Of course he wasn't satisfied because he wanted water. I tried to convince him by saying there was water in the juice, and showing him the ingredients list. Unfortunately water wasn't on the list (but rice was ?.?), so he then attempted to kill me, grasping my neck. I had this thing on my wrist which could rewind time though, so I hit that a few times and rewound time until I was back downstairs in the shopping centre. Then I went off to look for some pure water for the god, then I woke upTo be more recent, I seem to be having another phrase of dreaming of disasters (also natural disasters). Over the last few months I've had dreams of tsunamis, massive tornados or groups of tornados, volcanic ash "rain", and last night I dreamt of a plane crash. Funnily enough, in 2009, I had such a phase before including similar dreams (plus earthquake dreams.. havent had one of those yet this time).
Anyway, that plane crash dream was last night - I dreamt I looked out of my window and saw a Lufthansa plane flying low over our house. I remember thinking it was weird to see a plane that low. Then the nose seemed to pull up, as if it wanted to gain altitude, but it pulled up too steep the plane flipped over onto its back and plummeted to the ground not far from our house. I saw the explosion and flames and ran to tell my parents. Then I looked out again and saw the silhouette of the burned out wreckage and bodies covered in white sheets nearby (must have been a while later, it was also evening time by then).
I also don't remember the last time I had a peaceful dream
