I predict that in a few years Microsoft and Sony are going to create their next consoles. So the point of this thread is what do you believe they might improve on and by improving I mean lessons learned from the PS3 and 360. If you can't think of anything just guess. :thanks:

Wasn't it already leaked that both MS and Sony plan on talking about their next console at the next E3?

Unless they can fit a Flux Capacitor to transport me back to the 90s then I don't really care what they do. No DLC or patches, entire games included on discs, when FPS were actually good. Heaven. ^_^

On a more serious note, reliability. Better components, better cooling. That's all I really ask. If I have to go through ~5 consoles before the generation is even up again then I'll take my handhelds and PC and never consider a home console again, despite most of my favorite genres/series being found on them.

Well, Microsoft needs better quality control next gen, that much is certain. I was one of the lucky ones, my Xbox 360 only fried itself once.

hopefully they will be more like PC's concerning things such as comunity and sharing mods (from the social circle that I fall in and out of the most disapointing thing about consoles is that they can't do what the PC's do)

Couldn't care less. I'll be switching totally to PC gaming by then, so I'll be pretty much giving up on consoles.

At least that was until they announced a new Halo trilogy
