Meh. You just kill and torture a bunch of them until the rest settle down into a fearfully productive state again. Cost of doing business. Slavery is capitalism in its purest form. Captive workforce, no wages, no benefits, pure production and profits. All you gotta do is keep enough rags on their backs and slop in their troughs to keep them producing. If corporations today could get away with this, most of them would in a heartbeat. And the shareholders would applaud. Pesky dang morality...

I HATE slavery its just a terrible thing to do.

On the contrary. I've listened to most of it, and what I said fits everything I heard. He's the guy responsible for all of it, and there's no denying it. The buck stops there.

I don't really know why I find it so heartspoken, then. For some reason, how he explained it all just sort've opened it all up to me.

Oh, his reasonings and justifications and personal desires for the fate of the world were certainly logical and sensible, if you are able to completely embrace the 'ends justifying the means' mindset, with a good solid pair of blinders on so you can ignore the resulting horrors which can be laid at his feet and no one elses.

Yes it is, it isnt a good or moral thing, but it increases efficiency and productivity nonetheless.

Doubtful
Serfdom and collective farming both had very poor efficiency and productivity. People really do work harder when they are working for themselves

I d rather see east than west for a few games.

Fo4 needs to be mid west IMO, because FOT ..................... had no ending.

We know the West Coast is chugging along. (Hopefully House is canon, but I would begrudgingly accept NCR as canon) I'm more interested in seeing how the Eastern half of the US is fairing.

Personally I don't see why we can't have both. Let Bethesda develop a storyline for the East Coast and Obsidian for the West Coast.

Ehhh, to many Fallout games would be coming out for my tastes.

Edit: AND not to mention it'd deepen the Obsidian/Black Isle vs Bethesda chasm already present in the fanbase

I prefer the East, it's a large ammount of untapped territory and as such has more potential for futher stories, the west is too well trodden. It's also more urban and has larger cities, with more high tech and modern weapons and armor, I swear if I have to use another lever action rifle that looks like it belongs in a museum case or see one more cowboy wannabe I'll lose it.

In JERSEY? We wouldn't have to go anywhere near the Shore, would we? I don't wanna know what that + rads and FEV did.

Actually, that's not the "purest" form of capitalism (though I will admit that is an abominable form of it). A more representative form of capitalism would be paying employees just enough so they have all the basic necessities to stay alive, plus a little extra so they can buy some fun stuff for themselves. The more money changing hands, the more the economy keeps moving. The more people buying stuff, the more reason they have to produce it. Produce and sell, produce and sell, mo' money, mo' money...

...in other words, pretty much what we have now.
