ok well i bought brink when it first came out on the ps3 that was back when the hack thing happened. the thing is online n offline play seems somewhat the same. i hardly see anyone else playing ever. is it just me or am i doing something wrong? im always in freeplay with the rank or higher setting on and it doesnt seem any different

I was just about to post the same thing but for xbox 360, i brought brink yesterday and i thinks its pritty good but i hate playing against these bots its boring and lame. I have had 1 game that was actually full of human players and it was tactical and a lot of fun.

can anyone suggest what the most played set up is, e.g standard in objective mode.

yea i agree the bots thing is boring and lame but does it show anything different when with actual ppl? like player names, u kno like an actual screen name other than like the npc jumbum bubacla or watever, and do u notice the customization or does it still look the same?

you can check by pausing and going to scoreboard and anyone with a colored bar next to there name is human players, thats how it is on 360 anyway and yes you can see there customization although i dont really notice cuz im just thinking about killing them

Most people play as Engineer (at least on the 360). Easy prey for an Operative (OP), as they can steal their sentries and even shoot them manually. I do it just so I can yell "IMMA SAPPIN' YOUR SENTRY!"

The only time it's fun playing against bots for me is as an OP. Aside from the occasional medic that somehow has the uncanny ability of a spy to point me out, getting 50-80 xp per spotting an enemy is easy, fun, and can result in getting 5000 XP per game without even getting a kill. As proof, I was a level 5 OP yesterday- Now I'm level 13.
