I'm pretty sure it's nothing, but I started over New Vegas, cause I was bored, and I hadn't had an extensive Legion playthrough. When you making your guy with Doc Mitchell, I notice he says something that I thought was intereresting. After going through his ink blot thing, he says something along the lines of:

Alright, now I need to give you this medical form for emergency reasons. (Then as a joke) "It ain't like you have a family history of being shot in the head."

So I thought that it sounded suspicious and could give some hint about a family, that all got shot in the head, by maybe Ulyeses.

After a first read of this I thought, nah. But then I read it again and thought, well actualy that's not a bad idea! I never thought of it like that but could explain why he thought you should be dead.

There's no hidden meaning behind it (as much as I can see).

What he means is, that he's trying to get a sense of your medical history, and then jokes that its just a formality, since the medical issue you had (being shot in the head) is not hereditary.

In other words, he doesn't mean it as "Ain't like you got a family history of being shot in the head". [rolleyes sarcasm] (Implying that your family obviously has a history of being shot in the head.)

Its literally "Aint like you got a family history of being shot in the head." [haha funny] (Meaning you literally can't have a family history of being shot in the head. )

So yeah, its nothing really. Just a somewhat lame joke.



He thought you should be dead because you were shot point blank range in the head. :tongue: Thats something few rarely survive.

All I know is Ulessius wants me dead at the divide without a hint as to why in the story line so far.

If he wants to die, I can much oblige. And then I'll keep his head as a trophy.

I'm more curious about the "where two bullets left their mark" response from Lanius. The Forecaster says the same.

Something tells me that either Ulysses shot you again after Benny was through, or you'd been shot in the head by Ulysses before. Two shots is just one of those things that would make a good plot device. We hear that and think "wait I got shot twice?" and you just assume Benny shot twice. Then when you talk to Ulysses, that's the kind of thing that makes you say "OOOOOOOOoooh" when hereveals that he's also shot you in the head before. Just a theory, but not a very unlikely one.
