Anyone else having trouble starting up this game or installing it? Keeps telling me the servers are too busy...but a Google search tells me this can be a problem that lasts for days and seems more like some kind of glitch specific to each machine rather then the actual service.

If nothing else helps, switch Steam to offline mode. From the Steam menu in upper left corner, select Go offline.

Sigh if only I had done that before uninstalling the game :/....now I gotta wrangle through technical support....I've already tried all the options they've given in their FAQ for this particular error message....so now I have no clue what they'll tell me unless this is a farther reach problem then I'm thinking *shrugs*....I can't stress enough for the billionth time that steam should never be necessary to install any game especially a single player game.
