i just got brink for ps3 console and ive been playing freeplay thinking thats the online multiplayer feature, it even tells me that im joining a session, BUT the names are just too simple ( i even tried to send a msg to one of the "players" ) and it said it wasnt registered telling me that im playing against bots. my question is "how can i make sure im playing with real ppl? i want to play against players, can somebody explain me how to make sure im playing online plz? thx

on the scoreboard a Human Player will have a green (sometimes orange or red depending on connection) bar over next to their score, Bots will have a small uppder body image (body and head shape)

ok so u are telling me that this is random? that i join the session and if there are players online they will join randomly and if there are no players ill always play with bots? that i cant choose to play against human players only?

You can browse through the game-types and choose a mode that only has human players.
I believe that competitive mode only has human players.

u can always play with ppl if u choose either competition or old skool, i personally like old skool becuz it has more ppl and the command posts actually work

i would suggest joining the makeshift ps3 chatrooms that have a steady flow of players if you're looking to specifically play with players and not bots......if you send me a friend request or your psn id, i can send you a chat invite, then finding games is as simple as signing in and asking for an invite to one of the current games going on. it's a great community of players from the two forums associated with brink mainly and seems to be growing , once you play a full 8v8 big team game you wont want to go back.
