I have not gotten any of the DLC's yet due to the fact that i just recently got new vegas. Does any of my faction choices effect the play in the DLC's? Also do my items carry over into the DLC content. Can i travel to and from the mojave wasteland during the playthrough of the DLC's? My last question is there a point of no return in these that doesnt allow me to play the game or dlc any further like there is during the hoover dam questline? Sorry for the noob questions but i am new to fallout and have not played any of the previous fallouts. Thanks for any help.

3- No you can't.
4-The Hoover Dam battle is PONR. You can play them at any time you wish up until you go to the Hoover Dam.
