New Reno as a DLC?

Post » Sat Jul 02, 2011 12:24 am

That would be great if they would make New Reno as a DLC, with this however, there would not be another level cap but you would be able to either help the citizens of New Reno clean up the city and get casinos in better shape or futher turn the city into a drug and six ridden metropolis and work with various mafioso factions. Also that would be cool if you could take over a casino and have someone run it for you and everytime you return you could collect a payment, similar to Oblivion where factions would pay you every 3 to 7 days or so. What do you think?

We've already been there, and according to New Vegas, it is essentially the same mafia-run, jet-ridden place that it was 40 years ago. I'd only be interested in going to old locations that haven't been visited for a longer time and are likely much different.

As I never played Fallout 2, I'd like it.

Personally I wouldn't shed any tears if we saw it again, assuming we either visit a part of the city we didn't see in FO2 or the part that we saw in FO2 was done very well and true to how it was. But again, seeing as we've seen it before and New Vegas lore says it's just about the same conditions, I'd prefer a brand new and fresh place to visit.

I wouldn't be so sure. In fact, I wouldn't surprised to see it be more generic and lose its charm, but I'm not saying that it can't be done. Part of it is having as many NPCs as it did with Fallout 2, but Gamebryo is horribe at those.

I'd personally want to visit New Arroyo. The fact that there is no defined canon for the area is bugging me.

I would rather free Denver from the Legion.

There is defined canon, it's part of the NCR.
