Has anyone played Eschalon: Book I or Book II?

I'm currently playing Book II, and I must say it's been a pretty good series so far.

It's basically an old school RPG, except its not old. Being a fan of Fallout 2, and the old Baldurs gate games, I thought I would give it a try. It's been a pretty awesome experience so far. It's very "stat-heavy," with some pretty cool skills like Cartographer. The mini-map improves the more points you put into the cartographer skill, and I thought it was a pretty nice touch. Graphics are obviously outdated, but if you can look past it I promise it's a pretty good game.

Currently on sale via Steam. There's also a demo of Book 1 if you wanna give it a try.

Has anyone else played it?

Probably going to DL the demo of Book 1 this weekend and try it out. I've been looking for good RPG's on steam, but their whole search system is kind of annoying. Thanks for the tip :thumbsup:
