A very strange thing happened when I told Cass and my dog to wait in the gas station of Goodsprings; while I go and finish the quest for uploading secret weaponry data.

I had been using the gas station ever since I started because it has a safe and other areas to store things. plus theres work benches down the hill which is convenient.

However in saying that, I left both my companions there to wait, while I go do this quest; I came back and all of a sudden the gas station was locked! lol.

It said that I needed a key to get in. I was like WTH?! Thankfully I had a place where I could reload not too far from when I left them there.

Anyone else had this glitch? I mean how [censored] is that?

Needless to say, I grabbed all my belongings and got the motel room to store all my stuff in.

My question is: After I helped that guy and the town from the powder gangers, why was I not offered a home there? I earned it at least. sheesh.

Yeah, I wanted to live in Goodsprings too.
