I think so far the game is great but it needs a team death-match

oh come on! no, no team deathmatch. only soldiers and engineers would stand any chance and aside from the few of you who want it, it would be COMPLETELY empty.

This assertion is as wrong as wrong can be. If you don't think a Medic could be useful, try playing TDM in Battlefield (when a Medic revives a teammate, the "death" is taken back; a mechanic that should be employed in Brink TDM). And if you don't think an Operative can rack up kills or help the team by getting behind enemy lines, comms hacking, hacking turrets, using caltrops and sticky grenades....then...well...you just have no idea how to play as an Operative. Broaden your horizons, my friend. TDM is a must have if Brink wants to stay alive. As it stands now the online multiplayer aspect of this game is as dead as a doornail. If TDM can't help it, nothing lost anyway.

The game wasn't designed around TDM mechanics and any attempt to implement them would do more harm than good. What we would get is 16 lone wolves running around levels designed for team holding actions and multiple player assaults. I also agree with the assertion that only Engineers and Soldiers would benefit from TDM. Operatives might be useful for sticky grenades but that's about it. What enemy lines? In TDM there are no objectives the playing field would be open ergo no enemy lines to get behind since you don't have to defend objectives. Caltrop grenades would be of limited use since, once again with no objectives it's a game of hide and seek so there are no routes to hold unless you want to spawn camp. As far as the medic class goes I can see some usefulness but if you end up with a high level medic using lazarus grenades you would likely end up with a frustrating game of tit for tat as you take out four guys and he takes back those four points with the use of one skill. This game is not meant for TDM play and people insisting that it should have it is just going to break the game. If you want TDM play Battlefield if you want objective based team play then play Brink simple as that.
