Concerning Alpha's and Animations

Video pretty much says it all. :P

But, for some reason the Alpha Channels act funny, so, you can only actually see through the holo circles at certain angles and such.

Also, all the animated objects slightly 'pause' at each keyframe of the animation.

Any advice/help on those two small problems would be appreciated :D

The pausing is a problem with your key type- you need to switch to one that has speed data so it knows that when it hits 0 it should be at speed whatever, instead of 0. Currently it rotates to angle 0, drops to speed 0, then the next run starts and it has to get back up to speed.
I've seen something like that alpha issue get caused by the 'front' mesh niTriWhatever having the same position as the back meshes one, if you move it forwards a little it could fix it (even if the actual geometry stays in the same place). I assume the engine's using their positions to calculate which is in front and getting confused when they have the same one.

Hmm, well I use 3ds Max 2010, and I honestly have no idea how to change keytypes.
And I'll give the alpha thing a try.

And thanks for the reply!
