Been playing or an hour freeze free when I went to sell off my loot at the Gunrunners proper and when accessing Veronica's storage the game locks up. It is a repeatable glitch requiring a reset. Not accessing her inventory near there prevents the freeze. Started leveling up again after the update and I see the new companion dismissal terminal at the Gunrunners.
