DLCs bore the game

Post » Sat Jul 09, 2011 9:47 am

I have just gotten 2 dlcs for new vegas and I'm really struggling to keep my attention on the first one I started on which is dead money. I can
't seem to spend more than 3 minutes progressing in the game when I finally exit it. This throws me off completely as the game itself was a blast
and it scares me off restarting it. Maybe its because there was a 2 month time gap when I didn't play new vegas before I got the dlcs.

of what i could understand of that, and please dont take offense it was a bit of a jumple, its either that of my brains upside down lol.

anyway i dont think you'll have to worry about that for skyrim. todd howard has said there doing much bigger, but less DLC for skyrim. so expect bloodmoon sized expansions.

Obsidian developed New Vegas, Bethesda just published it. Same for the DLCs for New Vegas. Bethesda and Todd have their own image for DLCs in Skyrim, and they should be something like what we saw in Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles. It's hard to compare DLC from New Vegas to what we'll see for Skyrim for these reasons. I'm just assuming that's what you're trying to do, though, since you are in the Skyrim, and didn't specifically mention anything about Skyrim in your post.

Edit: Thank you, YBS'd, for the correction. I would have left it in, but it seemed to refer to something very different from a video game.

Mm-hh, I have'nt had that problem yet.Dead money can be a pain in the buttox to get through some times, but it doesnt spoil the reg game for me, only gives me some cool toys to use, and 32 30 pound 10oz gold bars to put in my house.

This.

The DLC hasn't ruined it for me. :D It's actually made it more fun.

If they bore you.... then I don't know? I don't see how DLC's can bore you... They're fun and expands the game, adds new stories, weapons and such...

Maybe, you should just go over there, to those Interplayer's... those over at the junkie house...
