What are your thoughts on the AO rating?

Eh, I'll agree violence has less severe consequences, but it has affected us (or at least it seems so). I'm not saying violence in the media causes people to go out and kill each other, but it does have one side effect I do not like: Desensitization. More and more people are bragging about how they can stomach shock videos, violence in horror movies and games is starting to become "funny" to many people, etc. I think the worst violence is doing is causing people to lose their sense of empathy for others, which I consider a very valuable thing to have.

I think it was more the "Your son isn't allowed to play this" than "The ESRB recommends you do not allow your son to play this".

Oh well in that case it's perfectly reasonable for him to yell at the clerk!
