I was reading an interview of a website with John Carmack that J.C said that You Must Have a High End PC to see the differences . and my question is that with a mid range PC can we get better quality and better resoulotion with high frames per second ?

Well with a mid range PC you will get console like graphics which are already pretty good looking IMO. Plus JC already said they are achieving 30 fps with an onboard sandy bridge chip which pretty much says the game will be optimized to no end. The only thing I'm scared of is that it may not be as well optimized for AMD GPU's. I own a 5870 and I really don't want it to crash and burn like brink did

I'll be using a mid-high range PC and I expect better graphical qaulity than consoles along with mods.

Technically speaking, yes, a mid ranges PC would surpass the consoles on a technical level.

However, the way I see this game turning out is it will run on basically any gaming machine made within the past 4 years, but high end PCs will be able to take the graphics way beyond what the consoles could ever hope to produce. One of those "If you got it, flaunt it" type of situations.

And is the PC Version Supports DX11 ?

DX9, I believe Tim Willits said so.

I believe that idtech4 is very optimized for all platforms But Rage is Console Based of course ! i remember that J.C siad so .



no DX11 is better than Crysis 2 DX11 . I hope tha game realy show it worthes a high end PC .

Its DX9 only. Carmack said he sees little available in DX11 that he can't do in DX9 and the things he can't do in DX9 aren't good enough to warrant a change.
