I there a such thing? I have my xbox in my living room on the big tv but I also have a tv in my room, I like to watch tv when I go to bed, I am wondering if there is some type of splitter that would allow me to hook my xbox up to both tv's. (This wouldn't be a problem my room is adjacent to the living room and I could simply drill a hole for the other rbg cable.

BTW the tv in the living room is HD and the one in my room is SD, it would have to be able to do both.

To answer your question, you could probably buy a splitter plus a extender cable... but how would you control the xbox from another room?

Also you would have to match the output quality for both TVs.

By rgb I mean the yellow white and red cables you plug into the back of your tv.

That's fairly simple then, you should be able to get three of http://www.dealextreme.com/p/composite-av-cable-1-to-2-splitter-2711 cheaply (site was just the first on google, so don't know how reliable it is) and three more component cables. It doesn't really matter about matching colours either, each cable is identical, the colours are just there so you can keep track of what leads where (this goes for composite too, so if you ever buy composite cables, just get a bunch of regular component cables, instead of paying extra for the blue/green/whatever colours on the ends).

You won't be able to have one TV HD and the other SD though, you'll have to live with SD on both.

It's quite possible, however, most cables have a limited length before quality loss happens, this length differs by cable and quality. Given RCA is anolog and wasn't designed with much shielding, I'd say 20 feet is the max length for it before quality degrades (hopefully that isn't an issue given the rooms are right next to each other like you said, just avoid putting it next to any power lines/sockets)

Like some have said, buy a splitter. You won't get HD out of VGA chords though.

You'll need RGB/component chords to get it to HD.

They are, and the tv in my room is actually against the same wall that my xbox is next to so it would be the same length cable. It would be pretty cool if Microsoft would make a splitter where you actually can plug two xbox component cables into it, it would just like the regular cable only the end would have a little box with two "Xbox" ports, this is where you would plug the end of each component cable, each one would go to a separate tv. If you don't understand what I mean the box would have two of these.

The other side would just have one of the above things sticking out to plug into the one port on the back of the xbox. that way you could have one on hd and one on sd by simply changing the switch on each one.

No meant with the XBOX being in one room and the controller being in another... wouldn't there be a range issue controlling the XBOX?
