Does Interplay own the rights to Ninja Golf on Atari 7800???

I only ask because i was searching threw the records of the game and found that the developer was Blue sky, and saw that gamesas was the parent company, so i wondered since Blue Sky is now defunct if gamesas now owns the rights, if so then i , and many others, would like to see a resurgence in the game, and if not then thank you for your time and for informing me of this. :D

Fairly certain we don't. Atari was the publisher, they probably own the rights.

I think the Wiki article might be wrong. I was with gamesas at that time, and we did not have an association with Blue Sky that I'm aware of. There was a group known as the "Blue Sky Rangers", which had a weak link to gamesas (a former Blue Sky Ranger worked for Quicksilver Software, which did some development for gamesas). That's the only connection I can think of.

We didn't publish any of Blue Sky's software and that just seems silly when we were kicking off our own publishing efforts at that same time.
