Also, sometimes I either 1) revisit bad memories of things of which I am now embarrassed of ashamed or 2) I create these imaginary things in my mind which never happened. Both of these make me horrified and I usually have a brief nervous breakdown.

Fish, water, and sand. Terrifying.

The thing is, I would be perfectly alright if the water was clear, I just hate not being able to see whats in there.

Do not fear the obvious, for the daemon you know is a daemon you can withstand.. agreed on the idiots thing 1000% btw :D

Fish, water, and sand. Terrifying.
..and us. :ninja:

Not being able to see what's there is much more preferable.. trust me. You don't want to know what's swimming around you..
and once you can see it, it's too late anyway, so there's nothing to worry about it.

Entrenched stupidity
Safe yourself the heartburn, and don't read the patent's thread. Not because of the posts, that's cool, but the idea behind what's going on is deeply entrenched stupidity

That.. was indeed quite unsettling, especially how close the answer was to the truth. Interesting though.

Spiders , the fear of fingers broken or my teeth. The dark at times. Needles and that is the main things I am scared off.

My fears are all abstract and wouldn't fit well in a novella such as yours as they deal with philosophical threats as opposed to any that would have immediate physical results.

Creepy story, BTW.

Oh now you have done it, tell me everything.

Singularity frightens me, man playing God is a big no-no! :nono:

I don't like the idea of being over (or in) the open ocean. (the open ocean is anything past the continental shelf),

I don't like the idea of being the last human on the planet, but then, who would?

I don't like clowns.

I don't like the idea of carnivorous horses.

I don't like incredibly tight spaces.

I don't like big rooms, small rooms are nice and cozy, big rooms are open and intimidating. That being said, I love open skies and open fields, so its not a phobia.

I don't like the idea of being the victim of a giant squid, once its your svckers on you, your finished.

The poorly played shell game we call a global finance industry could have me worried, were I to actually stop and think about it for two seconds..

Crowded areas, so I guess India would be a big no for me. Also big rooms I hate, I think somebody else mentioned that already.

Small, enclosed places...

Once me and my friend got locked in his shed accidently (don't ask how, its still a mystery) and I freaked out, yelling and kicking the walls. Quite a horrible experience.

This might have to due with my fear of small spaces, but the worst thing I fear is being buried alive. I don't think its about dieing in a small place, but being forgotten. :sadvaultboy:

Heights. Friends talked me into riding http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=169R--voGf0 at the top of the http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/1f/Stratosphere_Las_Vegas_-_November_2003.jpg in Las Vegas. You're already 1,000 ft (320M) above Vegas before the ride starts shoot you up and down. It scared me for life - get willies from just watching the video preparing this post. They say you're supposed to face your fears to conquer them - but it didn't help. If anything I'm more afraid of high places! :shocking:
