I have a really great idea for microsoft to use in their next console but I don't know how to contact them, how do I do so?

And my idea isn't something that is really copyrightable or really anything important to be patented. I don't want to gain money from this I just want to pitch the idea to them, and actually talk to someone in microsoft who is able to something with my idea and not a phone answering person, who has almost no power in the company.

To be perfectly honest, they will not listen to you or care even the slightest bit. So unless you want an automated "thank you for your email" response, then I wouldn't waste your time.

Get naked, write the idea on your body, and streak across their headquarters.

Go to the press with a story something along the lines of "Microsoft didn't listen to me" without actually telling what the idea was, just that it would have saved the company or something. Then they might listen, or most likely not.

If I was the press I would reply with "What else did you think would happen?". Honestly OP they aren't going to care I wouldn't waste your time.

Geez guys I was looking for an actual response, like if any of you knew a suggestion email that microsoft has or a email to someone at mircosoft...

The most people here are going to be able to give you is the same thing you can find just searching for it on their website. Even if someone knew the Xbox team managers email they wouldn't give it to you.

I've actually tried to find a general feedback link on the network of many MS sites, but I couldn't. There's a public sort of question forum, where they respond to the questions or reports, but it's public - everyone's going to see the message. It works as a sort of knowledge base, so you can searh for all the stuff people have been sending questions about.

What sort of idea is it? Is it a standalone idea, or does it require something like the Xbox to run? If you think it would be popular you should find someone who can help you develop the idea into an actual product and then patent it. There's really not much you can do to convince an enormous company like Microsoft to listen to you, that's just the reality of it.

I am not able to find everything. And someone might have none something I didn't know about, which was what I was going for. And if they did know the magaers email, from knowing her/him personally then I'd doubt they'd be on this site. But one might have saw a article that gave something away like suggestion email for microsoft. I was just hoping for something dude. It's not that big of a deal.

Look, your idea might be good (might be!), but how many people do you think try to get in touch with Microsoft's higher ups because they also think they have a good idea? And how many people are trying to reach Microsoft for other reasons? A LOT, and unless you're close friends with someone high up in Microsoft, there really is no way to reach them and get anything else than an automated "Thank you now go away" message.

And I doubt all the well-paid, highly intelligent people at Microsoft can't think of the same idea you thought of.

They probably can, but then again every idea has been thought up by at least by 2 people.

They don't have to be a high up person just someone with a little bit of power, to get the idea off.

And just letting you know I was simply wondering if there was a way to contact them, everyone here is acting like I'm hoping that someone will just so happen to have bill gates email or something. I was just looking for a wondering if there is a way to contact anyone to give them the idea. As long as I don't get back automated message.

As I said before that my idea something that you can patent the idea has already been thought in other technology, I just think it would be cool for the next xbox to feature it, it would give them a slight edge over the other consoles or it could not help at all, I just think it would be a nice feature.

What ever you do in your correspondence with them do not refer to the company as MightGrowSoft...anything you say after that will surely fall on tin ears.
