Title says it all folks.

I want to take a picture of myself and use it as an avatar on these forums. I have a webcam built in to my laptop but not sure how I'm going to place it, lol.

Any help? (I'm on a 360 with a 720p HDTV)

A capture card would be the easiest way. But they are very expensive, most will cost about 70$ or more.

The only other way I can think to do it is just taking a regular picture with a camera.

Use your cell phone if it has a camera and snap a shot of the screen. You won't need the high quality if you're just gonna turn around and shrink it to avatar size anyway
