Future DLC Abilities

Ya know, I blame parents for creating these annoying latchkey kids who spoil the online gaming environment. No... I blame society for it's sissy stance on parental beatings, because a good smack is what these little bastards need. Empathy can also be taught with a flying fist to the face.

"Timmy, are you griefing other people in your game again, sweetheart?"
"ST**, mom. I'm pwnin"
(Timmy's mom rolls up a newspaper, tight) THWACK!!.....THWACK!!.... THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWACK THWUG THWAG SQUISH. "NOW GO TO YER ROOM, YOU LITTLE CREEP!"

Ahh... I feel better.

Being a young teenager i get a bad rap but i completly understand where your coming from. Its kids who curse and ruin the gaming society who need to be punished. The world has changed and i want it back where kisd turned out either relly amazing learning their is punishment dfor their actions or really bad and rebelling. Now im all for the occasional rebellion but once you get down to it i love my parents and glad they raised me with the palm of their hand haha

I want to see some sort of "true rank" system added. im tired of being the highest lvl and not seeing that little slider move anymore. it was addicting seeing xp grow....

true rank will be shared between characters, but will not actually count for anything in-game. all players will be able to see your true rank, but not character lvl.

or both. you guys argue for it.

also duel-wielded machetes. IT WAS IN THE TRAILER!!!

or how about melee weapons altogether? replaces secondary weapon, and is wieght-class based.

ex.: light body types limited to knives.

medium body types can get machetes, security shows up as night sticks/ batons.(both do same damage, only looks change)

heavy body types.... i dont know.... axes? chainsaws? brass knuckles?

please, anything that makes it worth playing as a heavy as much as i used to, before i found the kross smg....

like some damage resistance instead of just more health. high damage resistance against small arms fire from pistols and smg's. light rifles and assault rifles bypass DR.

yeah i know, "thats what kevlar does, just play as a soldier" but something more for heavys. i mean cmon, we should see balanced number of body types! not just entire matches full of light wieghts prancing around and what not.

oh yeah, and that rocket launcher that was in the trailer too. put that in.

Forgot about teh rocket launcher but as you can see pretty much nothing in the trailer is what is in the game. What happend to THAT CCity? interactive environments... i think people fell more in love with the trailer than the actual game.

Like some other Brink players out there, I played and loved RtCW, Wolfenstein: ET and ETQW. Brink was to be the next great id engine based game with classes and objectives. However, when Brink finally came out, I was underwhelmed. Many were, I've gathered. The reviews were bad, and the game didn't seem to be as awesome as how the trailers made it appear. For the first month, I didn't bother playing the game at all.

Now I play the game constantly. Once I started, I couldn't stop. I love Brink - despite it's flaws. Hell, ETQW was far from perfect but I still played the ever lovin' F out of it. Brink has a lot to offer that no other game offers. It is a thinking man's shooter. The designers took risks... and enough of them paid off. Definitely. I'll be playing this game until the next one comes out. Brink 2? ETQW 2... some new ip? I just hope the next game sells better and gets more acclaim. It would be nice to have a larger player base and more dlc.
