Spec ops pack

Post » Thu Aug 11, 2011 3:33 am

I reordered from gamestop and got the doom pack. nothing special considering i already had the bulpduan smg but i rlly want the spec ops pack considering my friend told my the greeneye scope is really cool and the hockler machine pistel to make looks like a mini uzi which would be great for having a light sniper.

But what do you think? do you think it was a good idea to release different stuff for preordering at different stores?

its not about being a good or bad idea, they just make deals with certain retailers because that retailer wants more people to buy from them. and the green eye is only helpful until you unlock the coga.

You have absolutely not idea what you are talking about if you think that the Greeneye is the same as the COGA.

the hell i dont know what im talking about, i have it, its 4x zoom, like the coga, but has a more narrow field of vision, the only difference is on some guns the green eye has a slightly. shorter equip time. it isnt especially useful in any way.

i use the greeneye on my hockler. both look cooler than their regular counterparts. and the greeneye leaves some peripheral vision, whereas the COGA does not.

the peripheral isnt blocked out but your narrow field of vision is more of a restriction, i only got one gun i use the coga on any way, the Rokstedi, the coga works better on it then the green eye

He didn't say it was the same. He said it was "only helpful until you unlock the COGA." At least READ what someone says before you respond please. Posts like these make people look stoopid.

No, price difference was to much at most stores to even concider another pre-order pack. I bought my Brink for 38 euro's on release day with the specops pack. I preferred the psychopack but in that case the game would have cost me 59 euro's.

So you are agreeing with my statement that the Greeneye is not the same as the COGA since you even admit that there is a difference between the two. Thanks for the support.

Also, you forgot to mention that the Greeneye has full peripheral vision when using ADS while the COGA does not. I guess that makes two differences then.

god your stupid, they do the same thing, function the same way, one difference doesnt change that. and if you could learn to read my other posts you would have seen where i said yes your peripheral isnt blacked out but because it narrows you vision you have bigger blind spots, so the green eye is worse. you sound so pathetic getting mad over some free scope.

Oh the irony.

Anyway, the point is that SD claimed that every pre-order weapon or attachment would have an in-game equivalent. Such is not the case for the Greeneye Scope as it is not the same as the COGA. All the rest is just your personal opinion, which you are entitled to, but it does not change the fact that the Greeneye is not the same as the COGA as they have numerous differences.

the coga is the equivalent to the green eye, say for the green eye being worse, despite its minor differences, the green eye isnt the only preorder with slight differences to its in game counter part.

I can't think of a single one that impacts gameplay other than the greeneye scope. Everything else is more or less a reskin/remodel or different character attires. Though it could be argued that the difference is so minute that it's irrelevant, it does offer some unique advantage to those with the spec ops DLC.
