sooo yesterday i decided i was gonna finally complete the be more objective 3x challenge as thats the only one i dont have finished and figure the AI patch might have balance out the allied AI to actuallly help , or at least see how the weapon balance changes affected the challenges.

to my surprise the level 1 bots are extremely brutal now, acting like level 20 bots doing ohk sniping ,180 spinning headshots etc....it was rediculously harder than before the patch, my AI allies could not once get close to me to revive me .

i was talking with another brink vet about it and he joined in my game to see how bad it actually was at which point we realized ,if you pick 2player mode no allied bots are present at all !! not that they did much at all anyway but they helped with distractions while i completed all the objectives.


has anyone else noticed this?

I knew about the multiplayer thing when u play with others no ally ai bots r present...
Not sure about the ai being beast in the challenges ( have played all the 3 star 1's with no prob...)
My guess is that ur not used to compensating for the ai's increadible accuracy...
U know what ill try the 1 & 2 star challenges of be more obj & tell u of my experience.
EDIT : just beat the 1st & 2nd star challenges with a brand new lvl 0 with no prob, the ai has changed but not that much...

I did all the Challenges on my newest character and had NO problem whatsoever. Hell, I had more trouble on Tower Defense 3 then I did Be More Objective... not lying.

BMO 2 was pretty easy. 3rd was a bit tougher but I still got it done with alot of time to spare. (And I was LV1). I think it's WAY easier then before.. again must just be you dude..

OP tried it ON LEVEL 1. Did he say he did it with a LV20? Nope.. cause I don't see it anywhere in his post. He said the AI ACTs like LV20 Bots.

And who in there right mind would dare try Be More Objective LV20-24?! That's like asking my TV if it want's a controller thrown through it... LMAO. :brokencomputer:

And no, I speak my piece, and sometimes more then that when I shouldn't. And before it's asked, no, I didn't do it at rank 5, I did it at rank 4 on my first run through.

tower defense is the one that gets me i cant beat it.

thanks for the feedback everyone, and to everyone responding - i'm sure you blew through the challenges before , but have you actually tried them since the patch!?

btw.....its definetly not just me , it must be my game save or something?? cause bots are lethal, i wasnt sure if it was unusual so i invited exodusdoomsday into my game and he was like ....OKAY! wtf is going on?

i'm fully used to compensating for lvl 20-24 bots accuracy ,i'm a skilled player , i play with most of you all the time and dont get dropped this fast. i guess its just something on my end......not me as a player , but something with the gamesave keeping the lvl 20 bots active on be more objective.
i will beat it eventually but i wanted to see if anyone else had a similar experience....thanks again

I know. And it wasn't that hard to be honest, really just need to be quick and ruthlessly murder happy. Although, I think I got a bit lucky with it. But doing it on level one as super easy mode doesn't really test the difficulty of it, is all that I mean.
