Hey there, I really fancied a new game so I shelled out for Brink, I really liked the look of it. Right up until I started playing it, I havn't played any multiplayer yet, because I am unable to play the single player due to terrible lagg.

EDIT: I also cannot see any servers in the server browser list, I have fwd the ports in my router, rebooted the rooter, pc and game several times to no avail.

My PC is as follows:

Dell XPS 720
Core 2 duo 2.66
4gb ram
Win Vista 32bit (fully updated)
GPU: ATI 5750 1gb (Drivers 11.7)

I know its not the beast of all PC's, but it runs everything else I play absolutely fine. I currently play BF2BC+vietnam, MOH, Black OPs all single player and multiplayer with full graphics setting, I don't turn anything down. But this game is laggier than anything I've seen before.

None of the suggestions have helped at all, the game responds so slow that I am pulling my hair out. I aim and its like swinging a gun through water or something.

I would not throw ￡30 away, so please tell me there is a way to fix this game because right now I don't have a game that I can play and it is not any fault or my PC or me. I should never have to go through all this to play a game I play for.

I was reading a post that suggested rolling back my ati catalyst drivers from 11.7 to 11.6, is this advisable, please could someone tell me, I don't really want to start messing about endlessly to get no play from this game.

I am now able to see online servers, but it takes some doing each time. But I am picking servers with a ping of 50 and below and getting terrible lagg, I don't think its net lagg I think its graphics lagg, what can I do to improve this, will rolling back my drivers help, please someone answer in some way, I was told I must come here to get a reply?
