I expect many will go "we already have a pop music thread" to those I say "you want the "the pop thread"

to those who go "ooh fizzy drinks!" & to those I say "congrats, you're in the thread for it"

first off I like many different kinds of soda pop/colas

but one of my favorites is Cream/creme soda especially A&W's.

what sorts do you all like or can't stand?

I like cherry Coke/Pepsi, but my taste in soda changes a few times a year. Previously I liked Mountain Dew but now I can't stand drinking it.

I don't drink sodas often, but when I do, it's usually http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pommac or especially http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julmust. I like those quite a bit.

Half of the people I talk to think I'm crazy when I say this, but I really love Vernors. It tastes almost nothing like other ginger ales, sort of like a cross between a cream soda and a somewhat stronger ginger ale. Delicious.

If I can't get my hands on that, I'll settle for the old standby: Coke, preferably the kind sweetened with real sugar.

On the other hand, I can't stand any kind of energy drink, they're just horrible tasting in just about every way. If I need the caffeine that bad, I'll get some coffee.

Usually Coke, or Mountain Dew. I do enjoy Monsters every so often though.

Pineapple Soda, Cream Soda, and Mountain Dew are my favorites.

But I don't drink soda often.

Anybody here ever drink a a Jones?

I've had their root beer, and some fruit flavor I forget the name of.

With the capitalised POP, I was half expecting a Prince of Persia thread.

Anyway, favourite usual drink is Dr. Pepper or Creaming Soda, but my favourite "special" drink is https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Fentimans Victorian Lemonade.

I just found a bottle of dr thunder in fridge at home.

Tastes like flat cherry coke.

Other than that, Soux City Sarsaparilla.

I love Vernor's and Jones Soda (all of their flavors) and Faygo. Being in a college town means there's always Jones soda around and since I live in Michigan there's always Vernor's and Faygo.

If I can't find any of those, I'll usually go with Diet Pepsi.

Looks expensive.

I really like Dr. Pepper, especially cherry. Anything cherry is good. Other than that though I pretty much drink anything. From RC cola to Mountain Lightning.

Coca Cola hands down

Glorious Coca Cola drinking master race reporting, bow down to us dirty Pepsi drinking peasants.

I like Pepsi, that's my main drink. But I also enjoy Mellow Yellow, Sprite, Dr. Pepper and Pibb.

My top three are Root Beer, Cream Soda, and Orange Soda. I also enjoy a good Ginger Ale. I hate anything cherry flavored, and I cannot stand most Lemon-Lime drinks, save for 7UP.

As for Pepsi and Coke, I don't care for them, but I don't hate them.
