Stargazing.

In complete other news, I'm starting a little Stargazing series on Youtube. Not official advertising, just a heads up if you wanna see.

In Phoenix, apparently there's a meteor shower. Too bad I can't see it due to weather.

Jerk weather.

Anybody else seen Lunar Eclipses or good stuff like that?

There was lunar eclipse a few months ago, I had to stay up till 3 to see it. I'm not really into stargazing, but my grandfather is. He has a giant telescope/computer thing, its taller than me. You control it from a little pad on the side and the image shows up on the screen. You can also enter a certain formation or something and it will find it.

If you like star gazing, take an observable astronomy class that goes late in the night. I did that this last semester, and even though it was late, it was friggin awesome. I enjoyed almost every part of that class.
I saw an eclipse on my birthday this last year. It was a really cool birthday gift! haha I stayed up almost all night with my girlfriend to watch it from beginning to end.
Living out in the country has definitely spoiled me. Stargazing is so much easier when you are out in the country where there aren't any lights, and there isn't the constant noise of traffic. How I miss it...

Tell me about it. I didn't get to see any meteors. But, I will be alive in time to see Halley's Comet

I've been dreaming of getting a telescope of my own, but never got to it. I live in the city and don't think it would be much use here. I can hardly see any stars with the naked eye. Need to get some place where the skies are darker. I also think I would expect simply too much from the telescope. It's still interesting to go and take a look through the telecopes of the local astronomical association. During the summers I can only see the sun and the moon, but during winters it might be remotely possible to see something.. I have seen eclipses, but the last few have been hidden by clouds.

I've seen shooting stars, they're pretty awesome, look like a ship going to warp.
