Anyone playing the new Hacker Evolution Duality Game? I got the beta today. Its very fun, the Thief mission was fairly easy, but the Assassin mission is nearly impossible I have found. Its a lot like the older Uplink game.

Yeah, getting past the tutorial for me was slightly frustrating. "Hint"

I love Hacker Evolution but I have no idea how to play Duality... I keep looking for a console to type in my commands :huh:

pleeeeaase don't tell me they removed the console. I am NOT playing that game if I actually have to use my mouse to play it <_<

Yeah it seems they did remove the CLI. You can use keyboard commands instead of the mouse though. D for DOS, F for firewall, I for interface and so on.

So the game is out. I pre-ordered it a while ago and now I'm really starting to regret that decision.

The game has been simplified and dumbed down to a level that insults all intelligent advlts. The previous game, Hacker Evolution, had a certain appeal to it because it was so unpolished, like the interface and world map,, it was all just simple dark colours and lines with no fancy graphics or animations. The new game makes you feel like a cheap script kiddie. <_<

Also, you can't play this game without a mouse. There is a console but you can't really do anything with it.

The developers obviously decided that graphics > gameplay because trying to actually play this game makes me want to smack myself in the face with my keyboard

I'd give it 4 / 10.

True, I played part of the original before, but never played Untold. I am going back to play those, they are much more fun. Eh, Duality is still ok, decent way to pass time.

I thought this was somthing ENTIRELY DIFFERENT.
