Got a Cool Knife or Sword or Other Weapon of that Sort?

Post » Sun Aug 21, 2011 1:55 am

So basically I think knives and swords and whatnot are pretty cool, I have a few small knives myself and was wondering if there are any other bladed weapon enthusiasts on this forum? I hope this doesnt violate the illegal activities discussion in the forum rules since its about weapons, but I'm pretty sure most states and countries allow the owning of self defense knives and swords and what not :D

So yeah, if you got a cool knife or whatever post a pic here and discuss to your hearts content, I'll try to upload a picture of my modest collection as soon as I find our camera :P

No! Omg GTFO! lol jk, yeah that works for me :P

I finally was able to get a picture of mine on here. http://i.imgur.com/PYcLW.jpg

The top 2 are folding and the bottom one is a fixed blade with a sheath as you can see. The top one is the knife I clip on the inside of my waistband, I carry it to 99% of the places I go to (that allow knives of course), the 1% where I dont bring it is because I forgot it :P its a good knife, good grip, very sharp blade right out of the box and is quite compact and easily concealable. The middle one is a decent Smith and Wesson knife I got for $20 at some camping store a while back, its a durable, high quality knife but it was very dull out of the box (as most are) and I still havent gotten around to getting something to sharpen it with. And the bottom one is my newest edition, I got it last week at an Irish Fair that was in my area for only $5. At that price you'd be in the right mind to think its a cheap, flimsy thing but I was surprised, the handle and sheath arent metal or anything but its still a really hard and durable resin. And the blade is stainless steel and very very sharp right out of the box. :D

I have a custom-made Glamdring lying around. Incredibly nice sword, big but very agile. And sharp, so I don't play around with it: I prefer my fingers when they're attached to my hands.

I have a WWII era US combat knife. I don't have a picture, but I might take one later and edit it in.

I've got a couple knives...
http://www.fallout3nexus.com/imageshare/images/170821-1313807254.jpg

The one with the handle to the left has a damascus steel blade. You can see the patterns in the metal if you look closely. That one is my prized sword.

The rest, including the flail, are just wall decorations in my man cave, but they are fully functional weapons.

I have more, but these were the ones that were easiest to get to.

I have a serrated Spyderco I keep with me at all times and a Ka-bar for those special occasions.

I have several other bladed weapons and each has it's own story but my favorite melee weapon is a solid 32 oz of ash wood with the words Louisville Slugger emblazoned on it, but I call him "Thumper".

I'm jelly, very very jelly.

I have a couple folding knives, and fixed blade knife and a hatchet. That's about it. Though all of those are really tools, not weapons.

I actually just bought a Smith & Wesson Extreme Ops about two weeks ago :P

Here's all the knives I could find at the moment, most of which were under my mattress or in the drawer next to my bed, http://i865.photobucket.com/albums/ab216/asapp152/IMG00395-20110819-2338.jpg

I probably have about 20 more scattered around my house :P

I used a Ka-Bar once on a back packing trip. Its the best camping tool I've ever used.
