i was going to buy the new deus ex game today for my 360,but was looking at some video reviews of aforementioned game.as i am a big fan of the burnout series/early need for speed,was impressed with what i saw from the reviews.i happened to see a copy in my local currys (uk electrical chain) so decided to buy it.i must say that the game is fantastic fun.driving real cars at high speed whilst being chased by the fuzz (cops) is fantastic (especially as you can unleash various weapons to thwart their attempts at apprehending you :toughninja: the graphics and sense of speed are very well realized.i must say that the game has definitely gone on my all time faves list. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xhe0GTi8Es

Nice to see they got away from the "free-roam" games of late. I found them quite frustrating. I looked at this game the other day but passed over it because I though it was "free-roam" I may look for this on XBL this evening. Might be worth dowloading.

I loved hot pursuit two for the gamecube. It was seriously the only racing game that I have ever enjoyed fully. I hate racing games, but I might have to take a look at this one.

Wow. Should've researched this game a little more before I dove in and bought it. I was just so excited to see them get away from "free-roam" I didn't realize the, "YOU MUST PLAY WHILST CONNECTED TO XBOX LIVE!!!" [censored].

The only racing game I've ever enjoyed was this one for the original Xbox..I can't remember what it was called..Was it Need for Speed or something else? It was the one before Most Wanted, but I don't know if it was Need for Speed? It had like..Lil Jon always playing in the background, it was just absurdly fun.

Edit: Nope, it was Need for Speed Most Wanted. That game was amazing.

I had Need For Speed Hot Pursuit on the old PSX. Loads of fun, I probably still have it (and the PSX ). I either used the M5 Roadster (I think that's its name) while being chased, or a Beamer to chase. The soundtrack was pretty good to listen to, too.
I also never liked racing games, but it was fun and kept me occupied for hours. I never did finish it, though. Almost.

I recently bought this game of Steam and it is pretty boring to be honest. I loved Most Wanted, but I really struggled to get into HP. I just didn't really feel like there was any point to it all, and the UI svcked hard. I guess I'm just really not into racing games I suppose.
