There are actually 10 different maps in the game, not just Container City and Security Tower. You're allowed to play on all of them. :wink_smile:

LOOL
Those two just seem to be the popular ones unfortunately hence why a map rotation should be included. What I especially hate is when ur completely outnumbered like 8v2 and the larger side chooses something like container city just to spawn kill for the whole match

Container City and Security Tower are very one sided and 'easy' wins for the team with the advantage. On PS3 there are a lot other maps played too.. So not really a problem that I run in to much.

I have Brink for both the PS3 and 360 but I admit I do most of my playing on the PS3 version. I'm not kidding when I say if I leave my map option to "Any" there's probably a 90% chance it's going to be one of those two maps - particularly C.C. I actually think it's one of the best maps but I'm so sick of seeing it constantly.

What I hate is when you have relatively even teams but then eventually everyone starts switching over to the winning side. That happens in the majority of my matches. You should lose 2000 XP every time you switch sides. I have encountered people who switch to the winning side every single time. And yes, map rotation would be great. One of the few good things about Black Ops is the voting system which doesn't allow you to play the same map, (Nuketown), over and over.

I hate playing Security Tower. -.-;
(NOTE: I am a Security player, exclusively.)

Thankfully, my teams usually hold vote dominance and we hate playing the same map twice in a row.

Security Tower isn't really all that one-sided. Once Resistance get their claws in and get some momentum, they're incredibly difficult to stop. The only area of the map that I've played as Security and truly dominated Resistance (ie. spawncamping) numerous times is the very first area... and I gotta say, one thing the Resistance bots do that players NEVER do is just SPRINT LIKE [censored] CRAZY to the HE charge and get that thing planted. Once Resistance get it on, it's incredibly difficult to disarm it with most the whole team holed up in that area... because Security bots and players alike are too chicken-[censored] to jump down and do something quick about it.

I swear, 99% of the time I attack that map as Resistance I'm ALWAYS the guy right at the front in the beginning. Even as a Heavy I seem to be more hasty than anybody else in the team about getting it set up. And 99% of the time, it blows because we got a foothold there early and Security were too scared into jump into a pit of Resistance and disarm it.

yeah i been kinda turned off lately do to this, 8 resistance vs 2 security...lets choose CC. spawn camping on this game is boring. The other day ma team was camping cc, i shot a nade at mt feet then stayed laying down, which amazingly screws with bots

CCity and SecTow are the "safety net" maps for people who like playing "easy mode", though there's nothing easy about SecTow on Security if you can't force back the initial Resistance push. For Res, it's the 1st half of CCity that's easiest to defend. Once the crane is repaired, they're on the ropes...and unless they're really good or really lucky, the match is already won for Sec. Same goes for the 2nd half of SecTow, escorting Nechayev. If you can get him pass the ramp, where Sec has all tactical advantages, getting him to the end is a breeze. I especially like how when you're on a smaller team of users, and you [censored] the bigger team on another map, they all gang vote one of those two. I remember a couple days ago me and my boys monogenes1 and easy10000001 where playing with a random neither of us knew, against a team of 7 Resistance users on Aquarium. We beat flames out of these guys, as our bots where naturally bumped up in skill since we were undermanned. We marched the council member out with minimal effort because we all stuck close to each other and kept each others damage, health and ammo stocked. So what happens after the match? 6 votes for CCity. And the sad part? We mopped the floor with them on CCity as well. They didn't even get the chance camp us because we hit the gate AND the side door at the same time.

I gotta say I'm one of those people voting for Sec Tow, as Sec or Res, I enjoy the Map, that said I wouldn't want to play it twice in a row, or any map for that matter.

The other map I vote for most seems to be Refuel, but at least that is the most balanced map (IMO).

I've seen the CCity spam, even when as Sec my team WREAKS the opposition, Voting comes and there's 6 people who want to play it again. Even if you win or lose, why on earth would you want to play the same map again? There's Rematch glory but then there is fudging about just to say "Yeah we beat you (after the 4th try)!" Senseless!

You don't see many people gang-voting Shipyard these days.... I wonder why... >_>
