So long as you don't mind putting it together yourself, they're good.

Bonus of putting it together yourself is you know it'll come apart, useful if you are gonna move.

Yes. You have to put it together yoruself or pay them to do it for you but they're a good company with good products. I'm going there tomorrow actually and I'm gonna buy a new couch :celebration:

I like their stuff. Its pretty simple to assemble (usually) and I like that bare bones Scandinavian modern look.

I like walking around there and also eating their surprisingly good food.

They have those jelly cookies or whatever that my sister and mom love.

Yep. Reliable quality, well designed, and is owned by a Swedish family (because that's, like, totally important :P).

also they give you really tiny pencils

Its to make you feel big ;).

I've found the longevity of Ikea's goods to be quite poor and the quality's not as good as is often claimed: when they really took off in the UK they were heralded as "everything MFI should have been" and the like, but my MFI furniture is still intact and all the Ikea stuff has fallen apart. So I'd advise caution there...

I think you can get better than IKEA for the price. Also be prepared to turn up to an IKEA store only to find they don't have what you want in stock . . .

I find their furniture has this awful tendency to fall to bits.
