Catching Idiot Criminals

Post » Wed Aug 31, 2011 4:46 pm

Just gotta wait for them and they'll pretty much turn themselves in. http://www.baynews9.com/article/news/2011/august/302808/They-asked-for-ID,-she-gave-em-pot

Read a story on another site where a criminal decided to break into a house. He failed to notice the "COP CAR" parked in the driveway with the house belonging to a sheriff deputy of that town. Would be nice if all criminals were this stupid it would make things a heck of a lot easier.

Like people who post on youtube doing illegal things or the the ones that post their loot on facebook?

I feel bad for my possibly future brother in law who is in the pen for armed robbery.

what's the difference between a regular cop car and a "COP CAR"? is the "COP CAR" a pretend car or something

or were you using the " things to "emphasise"

Yup that's another thing I read as well where a moron was in an incident while on his motorcycle. He managed to outrun the cops on his bike and then posted on facebook how he did it. The moron even posted up shots of himself and his bike which cops quickly identified as the bike that ran from them. Cops knocked on his door at like 4 am with a search warrant arresting him to which he confessed to posting on FB as well as running from the cops.

Individuals like that should be closed off in a distant prison for the rest of their lives - not for crimes, but for violating natural selection so horribly.

My favourite stories involve the halfwits who steal video cameras that are happily videoing them in the act, and perhaps even worse the ones who take photographs of themselves committing crimes and post them on Facebook. (Edit: already mentioned a couple of posts back; oh well, originality isn't my strong point!) Sometimes the sheer amount of stupidity required is beyond belief.

Best one i remember hearing was a guy who tried robbing a bank.

Think he went in queue with a cheque to hand in, handed the cheque over then held them up.
Unfortunately for him, he had actually filled out the cheque with his own name. Pretty big flaw in the plan there.

Think it was cheque, something like that anyway.

I think Albert Einstein said it best:
Only two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity. And I'm not sure about the universe.

You're welcome. That's one of my favorites too. (I even had a shirt made with that quote on it.)

It doesn't. Those were found in addition to the pot when the cops searched her purse.

The article says, "According to the police report, the purse contained Oxycodone, Methadone and Valium.", so I guess that's where I was confused.

cop car, you know... cop is short for police... it's the same as police car... it's what people call cars with the red and blue lights on top and normally the words POLICE on the side

Has anyone seen TruTV's Worlds Dumbest? I loved the one where this thief is robbing a bank and just as he is about to exit the bank, he takes off his mask and the camera catches it.

You've ever heard about irony? You've corrected someone on the use of quotation marks, but have missed punctuation and capital letters in every post in this topic so far.

Back on topic:
A while ago there was news that a guy got stuck in a window trying to break into a store. He was literately caught with his pants down.

they get caught not because they are stupid, but because they get too overconfident and too slack, thinking their deeds won't catch up to them.
