So, since SD didn't make enough mula...

We are not going to get new DLC Maps, period.

Bethesda doesn't want to fork over thousands of pounds or w/e and help push out another DLC. Only thing we MIGHT see in the future? More clothes...

Woo... hoo...! _._

So enjoy Agents of Change, it's prolly the only DLC we'll get for this game. I'll edit my OP with a link to a topic talking about this over @ SDs Forums...

http://www.splashdamage.com/forums/showthread.php/30811-Are-we-getting-anymore

Also, there's only a MINISCULE amount of people actually working on the weapon tweaks, lag fixes, etc. for this game. Probably about 80% of Splash Damage is now working on their next project...

Gonna have to say... it really svcks... I was hoping for this game to have more. But if it never does... IDK what'll happen to my copy.. (Not being a BA or attention grabbing... just saying...)

Like he said, Splash Damage doesnt have the financial backing of Half life 2, WoW, Unreal, etc like other developers. They cant afford to continue much longer with Brink.

And don't get me wrong, I am disappointed as well. I bought the game basically last minute and was disappointed with it. But I understand their situation and their need to move on.

While it's all probably right, that's hardly a definite source. Even the linked thread with the 'real' response still leaves it open.

Can someone cut and paste the post from thwe SD forums please? I am unable to view the post on SD's website. Thanks.

If this news is true, its no real surprise after experiencing SD's poor business relations. Thier track record just keeps getting worse and worse. I don''t see them lasting as a Dev team with the way they conduct themselves. I for one, if this is true, wont be buying another SD game because I know it wont be supported because of [censored] developers.

This shouldn't really be surprising at all. The online community is practically nonexistent. And the ones who seem to be faithful to the brand have made the lethal mistake of using private matches for most of their game time….leaving casuals and newbs to play with bots.
