So, I've decided to upgrade my PC a lil' bit, to start off right now I'm going for a new CPU along with a matching motherboard.
Motherboard: http://eu.msi.com/product/mb/P67A-G45--B3-.html#/?div=Detail MSI P67A-G45
CPU: http://ark.intel.com/products/52213 Intel Core i7 2600
However, as I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to computer hardware, I'd like to know if my old stuff will work with this new motherboard.
1. My current RAM for example, are two matched DDR2 corsairs5300 1024mb... The motherboard supports DDR3 technology, is this backwards-compatible, so as my current DDR2 ram will work with this?
2. My Corsair Powersupply 550W 120mm bulk (ATX/EPS, 4XSATA, SLI), will this also fit? I've searched around google but it seems the product is so old even the corsair website doesn't list it...
Thanks in advance!
